Sundays In Bed With… is hosted by Midnight Book Girl as a way to share what we’re currently reading. This week I’m reading…
The Clasp by Sloane Crosley. This was my book club pick this month. Book club was last night, but I totally didn’t finish it. Nobody in club liked the book, but it did prompt some good discussions. I was disappointed because I loved Crosley’s two books of personal essays a few years ago. Now, I’m afraid to go back and read them. Maybe they don’t stand up the way they should.
Even though I missed the deadline for book club, I’m still going to finish this. I have a few hours left on the audio, and I finally got a new car this weekend(!!!!!), so I’ll actually be able to listen on the way to and from work.
Speaking of work… I like to complain about how much I work and how it leaves little time to read and blog and write and be a person. And that’s true. But the truth is… I love working. I love my job so much. I need to get better at taking care of myself during the school year, but my job has brought me so much joy this past week. I have never been so excited for a Monday. (Who am I?)
