Sundays In Bed With… is hosted by Kate, aka Midnight Book Girl, as a way to share updates on life and reading. For me, it is a way to stay connected with something I love–blogging, and blogging specifically about books–in a life in which I am growing increasingly bad at protecting time to do things I love.
This week, I am reading…
Crooked Kingdom was probably my most anticipated release of 2016 and I started listening to the audiobook as soon as it came out. A combination of real life stress, book stress, and not wanting it to be over lead me to pause my reading, but I finished this weekend.
I have a lot of thoughts, and I’m not sure I can organize them, but I’m going to try to post a review. This book has been more than a story for me, though, so it might be a weird post. Suffice it to say that even though it was dark, it gave me a hope I didn’t think I’d find again this year.
In other news… I’ve been playing a lot of Skyrim and I love it. I’m also still enjoying House of Leaves. It’s a weird book, and it will take me a while to get through the whole thing, but I’m glad I started reading it.
And now… I’m off to Verizon to hopefully get a new phone. Then I can download a new audiobook or two or three and change up my morning commute.
