Sundays In Bed With… is hosted by Kate at Midnight Book Girl. It’s time for us to share what we’re reading and other random life musings. Here are things I’m thinking about this week.
Camp Nanowrimo! I have an awesome cabin with Andrea, Jen, and Kate! My goal is to finish 50,000 words (preferably more) during July. I’ll also be teaching summer school, so I’m a little nervous about hitting my goal. Howerver, whether I meet my goal or not, I’m a winner because these ladies are funny and encouraging. I couldn’t think of better people to go to virtual camp with.
Reading! Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve been loving every book I’ve picked up lately. I should have quite a few reviews coming up, but early shout out to: Emmy & Oliver by Robin Benway for being pretty much perfect. <3
New Books! I have spent a bit of time getting new books for my classroom library. Many, many thanks to Hannah and Jen for being awesome and sharing some awesome titles with my future students (I should have taken pictures). I’ve also bought an indecent number of books from both Amazon and Book Outlet. Plus, I have a book for review that I’m really excited about: Hear Me by Viv Daniels.
Viv Daniels is a penname of Diana Peterfreund, who I stood in line with at BEA one year. She was a delightful conversationalist, and I’ve always meant to read her books. Fingers crossed! (Plus, check out that cover model.) Thank you to Mark My Words Publicity for an e-book!
